1. Main characters: Chequer bricks for hot blast furnace have good volume stability, low creep under high temperature, low apparent porosity and high bulk density.
2. Applications: The chequer bricks are mainly used in hot blast furnace. When hot blast is below 900℃, chequer bricks are use of clay refractory brick; if the temperature for the hot blast is above 900℃, Chequer bricks is use of high alumina brick, mullite brick, silicon brick and etc.
